Five things friday: my favorite family photos

Take a peek at my top five favorite family photos from recent sessions!

5.This beautiful family session at a nature preserve was chilly (in December!) and perfect, with lots of exploring and rock throwing.

4. Even when the kids are over the “paparazi” thing, there’s gotta be at least one photo of mom and dad connecting and showcasing that connection and love that created all these little humans!

3. Okay, the outfits for this session were ON POINT. I absolutely loved all the texture, the colors, and the layering. Even though this photo doesn’t show any faces, it’s one of my favorites!

2. So many of my family sessions are laid back, “let’s go for a walk together,” kind of sessions. We play in the dirt, throw rocks in the creek, and enjoy nature, and time spent together. Sometimes it isn’t the “perfect” image that I love the most, but the ones that are the most real, and truthful to the family dynamic in that moment.

I loved this early spring session at an orchard - it was a cloudy, breezy day and the kiddos were a ton of fun, full of personality and energy!
